BACKGROUND: Required pre-application Concept Review of a proposal to partially remodel interior and exterior of an existing one-story single family dwelling-the project will convert an existing attic into 425 square feet of new living space as a second floor (2 bedrooms, a walk-in closet, a sewing nook, and a bathroom) and will modify the exterior roof lines and front and rear porch/deck areas. The project will also add an inside stairwell connecting the basement, the main floor and the second floor.

The purpose of the review is for Cultural Heritage Board to identify for the applicant the character defining elements of the historic district and adjacent neighborhood.
