To translate an agenda into the language of your choice:
1. Click on the Accessible Agenda link for the specific meeting date and it will open an .html of the agenda.
2. Right click on that page, and a dialogue box pops up. Scroll to translate agenda to (select language of your choice), and click on that command.

PRODUCER RESPONSIBILITY LEGISLATION FOR UNUSED MEDICINES AND SHARPS - WHAT PASSAGE OF SB 212 MEANS FOR SANTA ROSA REGIONAL WATER REUSE SYSTEM
In September 2018, California Governor Jerry Brown signed Senate Bill 212, the first state law in the nation requiring producers of medications and sharps to design, operate and fund a safe and convenient collection program for both home generated needles and unused medications. The Extended Producer Responsibility legislation was the result of unsuccessful efforts to work with the pharmaceutical industry on issues regarding the disposal of unused medications. Subsequently, a number of local safe medicine disposal ordinances were developed throughout the state which spurred the development of the proposed statewide legislation SB 212.
