5.1 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The Planning Commission is charged with carrying out the California

Planning and Zoning Laws in the City of Santa Rosa. Duties include

implementing of plans, ordinances and policies relating to land use

matters; assisting in writing and implementing the General Plan and area

plans; holding public hearings and acting on proposed changes to the

Zoning Code, Zoning Map, General Plan, tentative subdivision maps, and

undertaking special planning studies as needed.

PERMIT - 2000 SEBASTOPOL RD - CUP23-041 (PRJ23-008)

BACKGROUND: Conditional Use Permit for new 850 SF drive-through

building and parking lot for Del Valle Mexican Restaurant., CEQA

Exempt Project

RECOMMENDATION: The Planning and Economic Development

Department recommends that the Planning Commission, by resolution,

approve a Conditional Use Permit to allow the development of a

drive-through restaurant, to operate between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and

9:00 p.m., for the property located at 2000 Sebastopol Road.
