Government Task Force Subcommittee members prior to the meeting.

4. PUBLIC COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA MATTERS  
This is the time when any person may address matters not listed on this  
agenda, but which are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Open  
Government Task Force Implementation Subcommittee. The public may  
comment on agenda items when the item is called. Each speaker is allowed  
up to three minutes.

This time is for City staff to provide a briefing on issues of interest. No action  
will be taken on these matters except to possibly place a particular item on a  
future agenda for consideration.

PRESENTATION - OPEN GOVERNMENT CITY CODE  
IMPLEMENTATION STATUS  
Staff will provide a report on items from the Open Government chapter  
of the City Code that require further implementation or review.  
No action will be taken, except possible direction to City staff.

PRESENTATION - INCREASED SPANISH ACCESSIBILITY AT CITY  
COUNCIL MEETINGS  
The Communications and Intergovernmental Relations Department and  
the City’s IT Media Services have collaborated to create videos to  
provide additional information relating to the City’s efforts to increase  
access to City Council meetings. These videos were specifically  
created in English and Spanish to raise awareness of those for whom  
the translation services are provided.  
Due to technical issues at the April 4, 2024, meeting, the video portions  
of this item were not shown. The Communications and  
Intergovernmental Relations Department is returning to this item so that  
the video presentations can be provided for the Open Government  
Task Force Subcommittee members.  
No action will be taken, except possible direction to City staff.
