BUDGET  
The purpose of this Study Session is to provide an overview of the draft  
FY 2022/23 budget for the Housing Authority’s (Authority) review and  
commentary.

introduced item 4.1.

Kate Goldfine, Administrative Services Officer Housing and  
Community Services, gave a presentation and answered  
Commissioner questions.

ALTERNATIVES AND HOUSING ELEMENT UPDATE REPORT  
This Study Session is designed to provide an overview of and receive  
feedback on the Santa Rosa Forward (General Plan Update)  
Alternatives and the Housing Element progress.  
Megan Basinger, Director Housing and Community Services,  
introduced item 4.2.  
Amy Lyle, Supervising Planner Planning and Economic  
Development, Amy Nicholson, Senior Planner Planning and  
Economic Development, and Beatriz Guerrero Auna, Senior Planner  
Planning and Economic Development, gave a presentation and  
answered Commissioner questions.

7. CHAIRMAN/ COMMISSIONER REPORTS  
Commissioner Burke commented upon his tour of Hearn Veteran's  
Village, thanked the staff, and noted that the facility may need some  
maintenance.  
Chair Test commented upon her tour of Hearn Veteran's Village, her  
attendance at the recent Mayor's meeting and the topic of the  
Bennet Valley Golf Course seeking proposals from operators to do  
maintenance to the facility, the return of the Wednesday Night  
Market in May, and requested nominations for the City's Merit Award.  
Commissioner McWhorter made comment about the need for local  
veteran's facilities to be more inclusive of female veterans.
