Meeting called to order at 9:05 a.m.  
1. WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS  
Council Member Banuelos welcomed everyone and asked if there  
were any new members today who would like to introduce  
themselves. Mary Frances Walsh introduced NAMI's new summer  
intern.

2. PUBLIC COMMENT  
None.  
3. PRESENTATION: THE HEALTHY ROOM PROJECT  
Lt. Tommy Isachsen and Sgt. Ryan Hepp provided the Policy Team  
with information about The Healthy Room Project and how to  
nominate youth.  
Public Comment: Janice Karrman asked about insurance for the  
project.  
4. VIOLENCE PREVENTION PARTNERSHIP STRATEGIC PLAN WORKSHOP  
The Policy Team held a strategic plan assessment workshop  
focusing on the following questions:  
1. Looking back at the last three years, what has worked to reduce  
youth violence in Santa Rosa?  
2. What gaps remain since the 2023-2028 VPP Strategic Plan was  
adopted?  
3. What do you see as our greatest needs today as it relates to  
violence prevention?  
4. Considering the work The Partnership has done over the past  
three years, along with our greatest needs and current community  
climate, what should our priorities be over the next two years?  
5. What is a shared measurable goal that we can achieve at the end  
of this?  
Members were divided into groups to answer these questions and  
then reported out on their discussions at the end of the meeting.  
Public Comment: Janice Karrman made public comment about  
voting in the upcoming election.  
VIOLENCE PREVENTION PARTNERSHIP STRATEGIC PLAN MATERIALS -  
Provided for information.  
5. PARTNER UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS  
Tabled to the next meeting.  
6. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS  
The Policy Team will continue to work on the VPP Strategic Plan  
assessment.
