CHIEF’S UPDATE  
Chief of Police or designee will provide a brief update on current issues.  
Police Chief Ray Navarro presented the item and answered  
questions from Council. The Chief reported out on the OIR auditor  
process; inReponse team; sideshow engagement, engineering, and  
enforcement; and department staffing study.

POLICE DEPARTMENT POLICY 308 UPDATE  
Staff will provide an update on changes made to Policy 308 Control  
Devices and Techniques based on feedback from the City Council  
study session. Staff will be seeking feedback and recommendations  
from the Subcommittee.  
Police Lt. Dan Marincik presented and answered questions from  
Council.

CALLS FOR SERVICE  
Staff will provide an update on the department’s response to lower  
priority Calls for Service. Staff will be seeking feedback from the  
subcommittee.  
Police Captain Litchfield presented the item and answered  
questions from Council.  
PUBLIC COMMENTS - Annette Arnold is on Ambassador Council  
went through Community Policing experience and complemented  
the Police for doing a good job. How is on line reporting being  
handled, is there a protocol. Wondered what a VIP is; how she  
could find out more about the program.

Council congratulated Captain Litchfield on his upcoming retirement.

Chair Fleming adjourned the meeting at 11:07 am.
