Public Comment may be made in-person during the meeting or  
submitted by 5:00 p.m., the Tuesday (10/24) before the CAB meeting via  
e-mail at communityengagement@srcity.org. Email public comments  
will be provided to all CAB members prior to the meeting.

3. PUBLIC COMMENTS  
This is the time when any person may address matters not listed on this  
agenda, but which are within the subject matter of the jurisdiction. The public  
may comment on agenda items when the item is called. Each speaker is  
allowed up to three minutes.  
4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - NONE.  
5. CAB ANNOUNCEMENTS & ISSUES OF CONCERN TO CITY RESIDENTS  
CAB Members may share community news, upcoming community events that  
may be of interest to the CAB and issues of concern for residents. This is also  
the time when CAB Members may announce departure from the meeting  
early, or any other announcement that may affect the meeting.  
6. STAFF UPDATES  
This time is reserved for City staff to provide a briefing on issues of interest.  
No action will be taken on these matters except to possibly place a particular  
item on a future agenda for consideration.  
7. SCHEDULED ITEMS  
7.1  
VPP VIOLENCE PREVENTION AWARENESS SEMINAR  
Staff will present information on the Violence Prevention Awareness  
Seminar scheduled for Thursday, November 2, 2023. No action will be  
taken except for possible direction to staff.

COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD VISION  
This is an opportunity for Community Advisory Board Members to  
participate in an envisioning process to decide the path forward for the  
Community Advisory Board. No action will be taken except for possible  
direction to staff.  
8. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS  
This schedule is tentative and subject to change pending final publication and  
posting of the Meeting Agenda. This time is reserved for discussion whether  
to place matters on a future agenda for further discussion.
