engage the public.

5. SCHEDULED ITEMS
5.1
South Park Community Murals
Annette Arnold with South Park Community Building Initiative will present a
community art project proposed for Martin Luther King Jr. Park. The project is
funded by a City of Santa Rosa Community Advisory Board Neighborhood
Improvement Grant and this requires Art in Public Places Committee approval of
the artwork designs. The Parks Department has approved temporary art to be
placed as panels onto the restroom building with no obligation to replace once the
building is removed.
Recommended Action: Approval of artwork designs.
A motion was made by Committee Member Azhderian, seconded by
Committee Member Puentes that this Art in Public Place agenda item be
approved. The motion carried by the following vote:
