properties owned within immediate proximity to the project.

PUBLIC HEARING - DANIELS ADDITION AND REPAIR -CEQA Exempt

Project - LANDMARK ALTERATION - 1220 MCDONALD AVENUE -

LMA21-015

BACKGROUND: Exterior additions include expanding the backyard

cabana to build a new bathroom with matching siding, constructing two

brick pilasters at the entry walkway, extending the front porch, and

repairing the Park Street fence. Second floor modifications include the

addition of a safety guardrail to the existing deck and converting

multiple windows into doors for deck access.

Board Members Garrett and Huang left the meeting.

Chair Meuser opened and closed the Public Hearing at 4:53 p.m.

Staff and applicant representatives responded to Board Member

inquiries.

A motion was made by Board Member Fennell, seconded by Board Member

Boren, to waive reading of the text and adopt:

RESOLUTION NO.CHB-2022-001 ENTITLED: RESOLUTION OF THE

CULTURAL HERITAGE BOARD OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA

APPROVING A LANDMARK ALTERATION PERMIT FOR EXTERIOR

ADDITIONS AND REPAIRS TO THE RESIDENCE LOCATED AT 1220

MCDONALD AVENUE IN THE MCDONALD AVENUE PRESERVATION

DISTRICT, ASSESSOR’S PARCEL NUMBER 180-640-048, FILE

NUMBER LMA21-015.
