RESOLUTION - AUTHORIZATION TO PROCEED WITH THE SUBMISSION OF A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS GRANT (AFG GRANT) IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $554,626 FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF 15 PARAMEDIC CARDIAC DEFIBRILLATORS AND 30 AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATORS (AED)
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended by the Fire Department that the Council, by resolution, authorize the Fire Department to proceed with the application process on behalf of the City for replacement of 15 paramedic cardiac defibrillators and 30 automatic external defibrillators (AED) through the FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) program in the estimated amount of $554,626.
