RESOLUTION - ACCEPTANCE AND APPROPRIATION OF GRANT FUNDS FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL AND OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended by the Police Department that the Council, by resolution: 1) accept a grant award from the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control and Office of Traffic Safety in the amount of $20,000; 2) delegate authority to the Chief of Police, or his/her designee, to execute all related award documents required for receiving such funds pursuant to the grant terms and conditions; and 3) appropriate $20,000 in grant funds to a project key to be established by the Chief Financial Officer.
