Title: UPDATE REGARDING REGIONAL ORGANICS PROCESSING FACILITY The City of Santa Rosa, Zero Waste Sonoma (ZWS), and Renewable Sonoma have an interest in understanding if the city property near the City's Laguna Treatment Plant (LTP) can provide a future home to an in-county, Regional Organics Processing Facility. Both the City and ZWS have agreed to negotiation with Renewable Sonoma regarding such a facility. The City has entered into an exclusive negotiation agreement with Renewable Sonoma for the potential lease of property near the LTP. Staff will provide an update regarding the status.
