Title: RESOLUTION - CONTRACT AWARD - WEED AND RUBBISH ABATEMENT SERVICES RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended by the Fire Department that the Council, by resolution: 1) approve and delegate authority to the City Manager to sign a Memorandum of Understanding Between City of Santa Rosa and the County of Sonoma for weed and rubbish abatement services for a one-year period with three one-year extension options in an amount not to exceed $150,000 for the initial year; 2) authorize the City Manager to approve any of the three one-year options in the Agreement as necessary, up to an amount not-to-exceed the total budgeted for the Agreement by Council for that year; and 3) authorize the City Manager to execute all such amendments and any necessary documents, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney.
