RESOLUTION - AUTHORIZATION OF FUNDING APPLICATION FOR STATE TRANSIT ASSISTANCE AND FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION SECTION 5307 FUNDS UNDER CYCLE 5 LIFELINE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended by the Transportation and Public Works Department that the Council, by resolution, 1) requests that the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) program $383,261 in State Transit Assistance funds and $148,112 in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5307 funds available under its Lifeline Transportation Program for the proposed “Lifeline Route Operation Funds” project, and 2) directs Transit Division staff to forward a copy of this Resolution, and such other information as may be required, to MTC, the Sonoma County Transportation Authority, and such other agencies as may be appropriate.
