REQUEST FOR AGENDA ITEM TO CONSIDER REVISITING THE TOTAL TAX AND ASSESSMENTS OF 14% TO REALLOCATE FUNDING
BACKGROUND: At the July 11, 2017, City Council meeting, Council Member Combs requested a future agenda item to consider revisiting the total tax on lodging facilities including assessments that total 14 % to consider reallocate funding to support workforce housing for tourism service workers. Vice Mayor Tibbetts concurred.
