REQUEST FOR AGENDA ITEM REGARDING DEVELOPMENT OF CERTIFICATION OF UNDERSTANDING PROCESS FOR ENERGY PRODUCTION FROM SOLAR PANELS AND POTENTIAL HOMEOWNER OFFSET
BACKGROUND: At the March 4, 2025, City Council meeting, Council Member Rogers requested a future agenda item to discuss development of a certification of understanding process from solar panel installation contractors or builders for understanding the energy production from solar panels and identification of the potential need for homeowner offset. Council Member Alvarez concurred with the request.
