REQUEST FOR AGENDA ITEM TO CONSIDER AN URGENCY ORDINANCE TO REMOVE THE LIMITED LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (LIL) ZONING DISTRICT WHICH INCLUDES THE MAXWELL COURT NEIGHBORHOOD FROM THE ALLOWABLE LAND USES IN THE INTERIM ORDINANCE FOR CANNABIS CULTIVATION
BACKGROUND: At the May 16, 2017, City Council meeting, Vice Mayor Tibbetts requested a future agenda item to consider an urgency ordinance to remove the Limited Light Industrial (LIL) Zoning District, which includes the Maxwell Court neighborhood, from the eligible districts for cannabis cultivation use in the interim ordinance for cannabis cultivation. Council Member Schwedhelm concurred.
