COMMUNITY-WIDE 20% VOLUNTARY WATER CONSERVATION IMPLEMENTATION REVIEW AND REQUEST FOR RECOMMENDATION
Staff will provide an overview of current drought and regional water supply conditions as well as a proposed request for Community-wide 20% voluntary conservation compared to 2020 water usage. Staff will also provide an update on Water Use Efficiency Program’s current resources, tools and support available to assist our customers with reducing water use and eliminating water waste, information on the current and proposed outreach and education campaign, as well as next steps for implementing the request for 20% voluntary conservation. Staff will seek input from the Water Conservation Subcommittee on the proposed plan of action and request a recommendation to the Board of Public Utilities.
