ORDINANCE ADOPTION - ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA INCREASING THE COMPENSATION OF THE CITY MANAGER BY PROVIDING, EFFECTIVE JULY 9, 2017, (1) A 3% COST OF LIVING SALARY INCREASE AND (2) A CONTRIBUTION BY THE CITY FOR THE 2017-2018 FISCAL YEAR EQUAL TO 0.25% OF BASE SALARY TO THE CITY MANAGER’S RETIREE HEALTH SAVINGS PLAN
RECOMMENDATION: This ordinance, introduced at the December 5, 2017, Regular Meeting by a 6-0-1 vote (Council Member Tibbetts absent), increases the compensation of the City Manager by providing, effective July 9, 2017, (1) a 3% cost of living salary increase and (2) a contribution by the city for the 2017-2018 fiscal year equal to 0.25% of base salary to the City Manager’s Retiree Health Savings Plan.
