RESOLUTION - ACCEPTANCE OF THE 2017 EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended by the Police Department that the Council, by resolution, authorize the City Manager to execute the 2017 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant agreement and any amendments, subject to approval by the City Attorney; and the Police Department to administer the grant; and authorize the Chief Financial Officer to recognize the revenue and increase expenditure appropriations by the approved grant amount not to exceed $45,571. Purchases include zero emission motorcycles, a forensic computer, and cellular phones.
