Title: RESOLUTION - GRANT APPLICATION TO THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES URBAN STREAMS RESTORATION PROGRAM FOR FUNDING THE CONSTRUCTION OF LOWER COLGAN CREEK RESTORATION PHASE 2 RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended by the Department of Utilities that the Council, by resolution, 1) authorize the joint grant application submittal with Redwood Empire Chapter of Trout Unlimited to the California Department of Water Resources Urban Streams Restoration Program for the Lower Colgan Creek Restoration Phase 2 project in southwest Santa Rosa, requesting up to $941,223.60 in grant funds for this $2.2 million restoration and pathway project; 2) authorize the Director of Utilities to negotiate and enter into all grant agreements with the California Natural Resources Agency, Department of Water Resources if the project is awarded funding; and 3) authorize the Chief Financial Officer to increase the project account JL Key 54024 by the approved grant amount.
