The City Council will, by motion, provide direction to the Mayor regarding nominations for an appointment to the California Coastal Commission. The Mayor will take this recommendation to the Sonoma County City Selection Committee Special Meeting scheduled for May 15, 2019. The Sonoma County City Selection Committee will nominate one or more mayors or city councilmembers to the California Coastal Commission and the appointment will be made by Senate Rules Committee.
