MOTION - COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT GRANTS DETERMINATION - CMOSC MUSEUM-ON-THE-GO
The CMOSC Museum-on-the-Go grant application submitted by Children's Museum of Sonoma County is requesting $2,500 to host their Museum-on-the-Go program. Museum-on-the-Go aims to deliver CMOSC’s unique, vibrant, STEAM-focused programming to children and their caregivers who might not otherwise be able to visit our permanent Santa Rosa location, while simultaneously educating caregivers and childcare providers throughout Sonoma County about the Children’s Museum and the accessible/affordable, playful learning opportunities it provides. Their belief is that all children, regardless of geography or economic status, have the right to playful learning opportunities critically needed for healthy brain development that will help kids achieve their full potential as engaged learners and successful members of society.
