RESOLUTION - GRANT APPLICATION TO THE SONOMA COUNTY AGRICULTURAL PRESERVATION AND OPEN SPACE DISTRICT’S MATCHING GRANT PROGRAM 2014/2015 FOR THE LOWER COLGAN CREEK RESTORATION - PHASE II PROJECT
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended by the Departments of Transportation & Public Works and Utilities that Council, by resolution: 1) authorize the submittal of an application to the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District’s Matching Grant Program for the Lower Colgan Creek Restoration - Phase II Project in southwest Santa Rosa requesting up to $995,360 in grant funds for this $2,389,680 restoration and pathway project with the source of matching funds being Storm Water Enterprise Funds and future grants from other sources; 2) authorize the Director of Transportation & Public Works to negotiate and enter into all grant agreements with the District if the project is awarded funding; and 3) direct the Chief Financial Officer to increase the project account JL Key 54024 by t...
