Changes in regulations as adopted by California Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program required overhauling the technical program and quality systems for the Laboratory by January 1, 2024. Throughout 2024 the Laguna Environmental Laboratory has been working to implement and assess effectiveness of the new Quality Management System including the continual updating of Standard Operating Procedures and increased traceability for support equipment, instrumentation, and reagents.
