Due to the provisions of the Governor's Executive Orders N-25-20 and N-29-20 which suspend certain requirements of the Brown Act, and the order of the Health Officer of the County of Sonoma to shelter in place to minimize the spread of COVID-19, until further notice the City Council will be using Zoom Webinars to host City Council Meetings. Virtual public participation will be outlined on City Council Agendas.  Go to srcity.org/VirtualParticipation for more information on virtual meeting public participation.

20-008CR 13.1Amended and Restated MOU and PSA with Calgon Carbon LLC for UV Light Disinfection System EquipmentCR- Agenda ItemAMENDED AND RESTATED MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CALGON CARBON, LLC FOR ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT DISINFECTION SYSTEM EQUIPMENT Ultraviolet Light (UV) is the primary disinfection process for the Laguna Treatment Plant (LTP). In January 2016, the City initiated design for replacing the existing UV system. The City released a Request for Proposals for preselection of the UV Equipment, and selected Calgon Carbon of Corapolis, PA. The City subsequently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Calgon Carbon to establish the technical terms, an equipment price of $4,656,500, and to guarantee this equipment price for 18 months. The City also executed a $70,000 Professional Services Agreement (PSA) for Calgon Carbon to provide shop drawings and design support services for the project. The initial term for purchase to avoid price escalation of the original MOU expired May 2018. This Amended and Restated MOU and PSA performs the same functions as the prior contracts but establishes a new equipment price of $5,634,700 and PSA fee of $86,000.   Not available Not available
