The proposed project work order (PWO) provides professional engineering design services for the Seismic Upgrades and Improvements Phase 5 - Reservoirs (R) 9A, 16 and 17, and variable frequency drive (VFD) and Fire Pump additions at water pump stations (S) 16 & S17 project. This project is the last phase of a 5-phase effort to bring the City's steel tank reservoirs up to current code. West Yost completed a Tech Memo dated June 2018 that identified 3 reservoirs (R9A, R16, and R17) with deficiencies. The PWO will also include an evaluation and design development of proposed modifications to water pump stations S16 and S17 to improve fire protection in Pressure Zones 17, 16, and 3. The City of Santa Rosa was awarded 250 hours of specialized no-cost technical support from WaterNow Alliance’s Project Accelerator program to conduct research into water use efficiency program frequency and saturation in the City. The project aims to provide Santa Rosa Water with recommendations to increase the participation of Latin American Spanish-speaking community members in Santa Rosa’s Water Use Efficiency programs. Santa Rosa Water will need to execute the proposed Memorandum of Understanding with the WaterNow Alliance to receive this assistance. | | |
