Title: RESOLUTION - CALIFORNIA TRANSIT SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM AND CALIFORNIA TRANSIT ASSISTANCE FUND FUNDING SUBMITTAL RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended by the Transportation and Public Works Department that the Council, by resolution, authorize the Director of Transportation and Public Works, or his designated representative, to execute and submit an appropriate funding claim pursuant to the terms of the California Transit Security Grant Program and California Transit Assistance Fund for funding from the Fiscal Year 2016/2017 for the purchase, installation and maintenance of security camera equipment at Transit Stations and on the fixed-route buses to ensure the safety of the riders and people and property located next to Santa Rosa Transit facilities.
