MOTION - CONTRACT AWARD - PAVEMENT PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE 2018
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended by the Transportation and Public Works Department that the Council, by motion, award Contract No. C02206, Pavement Preventive Maintenance 2018, in the amount of $457,401.95 to the lowest responsible bidder, VSS International, Inc. of West Sacramento, California, approve a 15% contract contingency, and authorize a total contract amount of $526,012.24. Funding for this project has been appropriated to Account No.17450. The source of funds is the Capital Improvement Fund. No City General Fund money is included in this project.
