REPORT - CONDITIONAL COMMITMENT OF REHABILITATION FUNDS AND LOAN EXTENSION FOR STONY POINT COMMONS – 2643 STONY POINT ROAD
BACKGROUND: Community Support Network (CSN), a local non-profit, submitted an emergency request for rehabilitation funding in the amount of $154,000 to address fire sprinkler and restroom repairs at Stony Point Commons. Staff is recommending the Housing Authority approve a conditional commitment of up to $177,000 to provide contingency funds for additional needs that may occur during the repairs.
RECOMMENDATION: The Housing and Community Services Department recommends that the Housing Authority, by resolution, approve a conditional commitment of rehabilitation funds for emergency fire sprinkler and restroom repairs in an amount up to $177,000 to Community Support Network for Stony Point Commons, a 16-unit single room occupancy (SRO) facility for individuals with behavioral health needs located at 2643 Stony Point Road and extend the term of the Housing Authority...
